Oil paint stick on craft paper
I was trying a new technique! I used painter’s tape in ripped segments and before I knew it, it had turned into veins or branches. I realized as I was going, it was a bit like a sunset, so I decided on branches and added some pretty little birdie blobs. :)
"I don't think I'm old enough to be king," he whispered to his nurse. "Can I please be the prince a little longer?"
I drew this royal boy with oil pastel on cardstock. The oil pastel is set with Krylon Fixatif. It's 8x12" and signed on the back. It would look great in a frame, but heck, it'd look great taped up on your bedroom wall or stuck on your fridge, too.
From a figure drawing session, the model holds each pose for only 1 minute before changing her pose. Each color represents 1 minute of gesture drawing, as I learn to interpret what I see more and more accurately onto the page. This was a male model so there’s a little peener on there! I enjoy all the flailing limbs.
Acrylic paint on stretched canvas
This is a piece I did in 2016, it is a much different style/medium than I am typically use! It was a bit of an experiment, I’m happy it turned out pretty well. A little face going into a void or something. Does it mean anything to you? Could you give it a home?

She has lovely hair, she’s rather fond of her hair. She’s been trying to leave it down more since she heard her favorite YouTuber mentioning tension alopecia, but today she will be doing some gardening, so it is a practical decision. She can wear it down again later.
